Draftsman / CNC Plasma Programmer
To be considered, candidate should have prior experience in working with drafting programs such as Solid Works and AutoCAD. Along with a background in drafting, this person should also have extensive experience in CNC programming (preferably in CNC plasma burning). The candidate should be a self starter, and should have the ability to work with very little supervision. In addition to drafting and programming, this person will also be responsible for assisting in computer and network related troubleshooting. Any experience with Messer / MG plasma machines or MTC software is a huge plus. The likely candidate should also possess the experience and willingness to adequately perform the following tasks:
- Work overtime and weekends as needed
- Work in metric as well as inches
- Work in 2-D as well as 3-D
- Assist in CNC machine troubleshooting
- Troubleshoot and asses programming issues
- Maintain close communication with CNC operators
- Maintain close working relationship with Q.C. department
- Convey necessary information to CNC operators in the shop
