CNC Plasma Operator
To be considered, candidate should have at least 5 years experience in operating CNC plasma and CNC multi-torch oxy-fuel burning machines. Along with extensive burning experience, this person should also possess a strong working knowledge of carbon steel plate products. In regards to carbon steel plate, the likely candidate should be very familiar with all standard thicknesses, sizes and grades. This person should be extremely efficient, detail oriented and able to work without close supervision. Any prior experience with Messer / MG Systems equipment is a huge plus. The likely candidate should also possess the experience and willingness to adequately perform the following tasks:
- Lift at least 50 pounds
- Work overtime and weekends
- Read drawings in 2-D as well as 3-D
- Work in metric as well as inches
- Easily convert to decimal from fractional units
- Maintain and clean equipment daily
- Make sure all components and inventory are properly marked
- Operate a forklift and overhead crane
- Maintain a clean work area
- Effectively communicate with office personnel and CNC programmer
- Maintain close working relationship with Q.C. department
