Submerged Arc Operator
To be considered, candidate should have at least 3 years experience in operating submerged arc welding equipment. This person should have prior experience with all (SAW) processes and procedures along with extensive experience in the operation and maintenance of all (SAW) equipment; this includes sub arc machine, controller, manipulators and power rollers. Any prior experience with Lincoln machines and controllers is a huge plus. The likely candidate should also possess the experience and willingness to adequately perform the following tasks:
- Lift at least 50 pounds
- Work overtime and weekends
- Operate a forklift and overhead crane
- Read, write and speak English (bilingual a plus)
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and issues
- Read drawings in 2-D as well as 3-D
- Work in metric as well as inches
- Maintain and clean equipment daily
