Material Handlers
The likely candidate should have at least 2 years experience in a fast paced heavy steel processing and fabrication environment. This person will be responsible for maintaining a consistent work flow in the fabrication shop; this includes, but is not limited to: loading and unloading raw material on trucks, loading and unloading material on and off of the burning table, supplying material and components to a variety of presses, rolls, and welding stations. Along with supplying various work stations with material and components, this person will be responsible for makings sure all stock material and finished goods are properly stored and marked. The likely candidate should also possess the experience and willingness to adequately perform the following tasks:
- Lift at least 50 pounds
- Operate a forklift and overhead crane
- Read, write and speak English (bilingual a plus)
- Work overtime and weekends
- Read a tape measure in metric as well as inches
- Maintain a neat and clean work area
- Use a wide variety of material handling equipment
