Human Resource Generalist

We are currently seeking an experienced & highly professional HR Generalist to join our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-screens for qualified candidates, and schedules and conducts interviews
- Conducts reference checks and runs background checks
- Prepares and communicates offers of employment
- Serves as an internal consultant to managers in regard to recruiting, following Company policy, and following employment law
- Conducts new employee orientations and handles on-boarding of new employees
- Conducts exit interviews
- Handles unemployment claims
- Assists in creating job requisitions and job descriptions
- Answers questions related to benefits and Company policy
- Creates/updates various HR reports
- Exercises high degree of confidentiality
- Provides back-up on payroll, reporting and other HR functions
- Manages and/or assists with HR-related projects as needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years as a Generalist
- Experience in compensation and benefits a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Communicates and deals effectively with others
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, experience with Visio a plus
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks successfully
- A well-organized and self-directed individual who pays high attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law is essential
- Fluent in Spanish a plus
