Mechanic / Service Technician

Pileco Inc. has an immediate opening for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join its team. 

This position shall be a function of the service department. 

Qualified candidates should be able to diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs using test and calibration equipment. 

Candidates should be able to repair and/or replace damaged or worn parts on mobile drilling equipment, and provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or mechanical problems are encountered. 

Candidate should be able to review electrical schematics’ and operations book to ascertain procedures and objectives to test the nature of technical problems. 

Candidate should be able to operate folk lifts and over head cranes to complete the repairs on equipment.  

Candidate should be able to weld metal parts or components together using SMAW or GMAW welding equipment. 

Candidate should set a positive example in punctuality and professional demeanor with all levels of staff and customers.
