SINGLE ACTING IMPACT HAMMERS
Single-acting hammers use hydraulic pressure to raise the striking parts to a desired height--then gravity takes over. This action transfers the impact energy to the material being worked on, such as concrete or rock. However simple in mechanism, they are often more energy-efficient in situations where a continuous, lower-energy impact is sufficient.
